BIO

Peter Field started as a painter and sculptor and subsequently branched out to theatrical set and costume design, prop making and scenic painting. He has worked as a designer for many festivals and special events and done a variety of publicly commissioned murals and sculptures.

Their artistic expression has gone through many phases over the years resulting in a highly personal approach and perspective. They are never content with standing still and are always looking for their next engaging project.

​

His paintings are in the collections of the Canada Council Art Bank, The Alberta Art Foundation, The Art Gallery of Alberta, The Walter C. Mackenzie Health Sciences Centre, The Edmonton Public Library, Imperial Oil and IBM Canada.

​

He has had one man shows at The Art Gallery of Alberta, The Works Gallery, The Citadel Theatre and The Vancouver East Cultural Centre among others.

 

He has been part of group shows at The Works, The Art Gallery of Alberta, Presentation House, The Provincial Museum of Alberta and Latitude 53.
